- THINGS TO DO:
- Cobh Heritage Center: this is the site that Michael Joseph Walsh would have used departing Ireland for America.
- The Titanic Experience is another heritage building centered on Cobh’s maritime past. Check it out!
- St Colman’s Cathedral: this imposing church is one of the tallest buildings in Ireland, and sits on the hill overlooking the Heritage Center and Spike Island.
- Cobh’s waterfront hosts many small shops and restaurants. Those who want some food or coffee can check these locations out.
- Trip out to Spike Island: For those willing, we can also do a tour of historic Spike Island, home to a 6th century Monastery, Victorian island prison and 18th Century fortress.
